Happy New Year!
December 31st, 2006 — Holidays

Sabres rocked the house ending 2006
December 31st, 2006 — Down Town Buffalo, Sabre's, fun stuff
My first mission: to picked up new gear at the Sabres’ Store.
We had perfect seats for the Sabres game last night. Briere’s goal was great! The Arena went crazy. Pominville’s goal was great! The Arena went crazy again. Vanek got 2 goals, one was an open-net. Ryan Miller was outstanding between the pipes. All night the fans were up & cheering. It was powerful, exciting & [to say the least] the best game I’ve seen all year. ![]()

In just a few short hours I will be sitting in the HSBC Arena with a large pretzel & a coke cheering our Buffalo Sabres to another victory!

Fire-damaged house in Buffalo sold on eBay.
December 28th, 2006 — Buffalo, Comment to bloggers, Fed-Up
Kern Watch has a great post uncovering a sad state of home-ownership in Buffalo.
Most dramatic is severely fire-damaged 67 Gibson, which they re-listed on eBay three times before selling it. The deed for $2900 to Stephen Gilstrap, never before seen in Bflo, was filed December 15. The Puglia’s took a loss on 67 Gibson, having paid $14040 on 4/28/06 . . but they avoided a costly demolition ($8K -$10K?).

Other sports that are hot
December 28th, 2006 — Comment to bloggers, fun stuff
I was having a little fun commenting on RT101’s blog today. Then I heard Weird Al’s Canadian Idiot caricature of Green Day’s song.
They treat curling just like it’s a real sport.
How can anyone think curling is not a cool sport like nascar?
