I was just sent something Rus Thompson wrote:
This Billboard will not happen and the reason why? The Thruway authority will not allow it to happen. We have spoken to Billboard companies that have told us that the Authority basically controls what can be said on the signage along the thruway, can you believe it. They are afraid the Authority will come after them if they put our message on any Billboard.
I think this is an infringement on our Free Speech.. What say you?

I have seen billboards for casinos, liquor, beer, strip clubs, lawyers. You can put up anything you want on a billboard except what some don’t want you to see. This is a shame on New York State’s part.
I hope I can urge more to sound off on how the Thruway Authority is denying freedom of speech.

Jeffy won another pole. Holy crap-shit! This guy is hot.
I think this is his fourth in a row. He’s driven any & every car with the top speeds. Standard, COT’s, plate cars… is there nothing this guy can’t drive hard? Sorry Daddy.

Another Sunday drive:
For Bowyer, plate racing like cruising on interstate
TALLADEGA, Ala. — Clint Bowyer keeps telling himself that restrictor-plate racing is just another Sunday drive.
“It’s no different than driving on the interstate,” Bowyer said.
Of course, most people aren’t doing 190 mph running inches away from other cars at the time. But Bowyer, speaking Friday at Talladega Superspeedway during preparations for Sunday’s Aaron’s 499, said it’s the same basic principle.
He tries to treat it the same way as he does when he’s stuck in traffic: Stay calm, be patient and try to avoid causing any road rage.
“If people are driving crazy or erratic, get away from them,” Bowyer said. “Back out and get out of that situation. If they’re putting you three-wide or four-wide and you’re not comfortable with who you’re around and your surroundings, well, you’ve got the wheel. Get out of that situation.”
Of course, it’s easier said than done, especially in Bowyer’s case. He lasted just 16 laps in his Talladega debut last spring before getting caught up in a crash and winding up 40th.
I think there will be a lot of cars trying at 3-wide tomorrow.
Here’s the top 10 race Lineup from Nascar.com:

I’m getting ready for work & don’t have a lot of time to post links right now but there’s a news story running on CNN.com about a father who was released from prison to under go a kidney transplant to [maybe] save his son’s life. Instead of going to the hospital, the asshole fled the country.
Wow! And everyone went batsy when Alec Baldwin attempted to disapline his pisspot daughter.
