There is an intersting post going on on the Freeny blog today. I am no fan of the FreeNY state of mind. I am as liberal as they come and proud of it. I don’t subscribe to Libertarianism at all. And it all comes down to my personal opinion of politics. His personal opinion of politics, etc.

The question being raised is how can James Ostrowski spend so much time talking about downsizing the big government machine and represent Holt at the same time?

On the other hand, I’m thinking about the lawyer who defended Altemio Sanchez. We have a judicial system where everyone has the right to fair legal representation. He is spending the rest of his live behind bars for the murder of three women where he belongs. He was still represented in a court of law because that is a Constitutional right that we have in America.

I think a lot of people are over looking a word called “professionalism” and I can respect James Ostrowski for seperating his personal political views from his job. I still will not accept or agree with Jim’s ultra conservative ways and means, but I’ll not hold him down for upholding a part of law that makes all of “free”.
