October 13th, 2007 — In the News, Music, Sadness, opinion post
It’s all over the news channels about this girl who is known as Hannah Montana. She is a pop icon/actress well on her way to fame. (I’m glad I have boys to escape the frenzy
)
It’s heartbreaking to her fans that ticket sales are selling out in minutes by brokers that are reselling the tickets to her show upto 10 times their face value.
What a way to kill the music industry. Using greed to stop preteen & teenage girls from seeing their fave star.
It’s no wonder people resort to illegal downloading on the internet.
I’m still not feeling 100% so I didn’t take the time to provide links, but if you search the internet you’ll find endless info on the topic.

July 13th, 2007 — Buffalo, General, Music, about me

After writing this post and turning my after work/unwind time into a Goo Goo Dolls night, “Iris” is one of my fave Goo’s songs.
And I don’t want the world to see me,
Cause I don’t think they’d understand
when every thing’s meant to be broken
I just want you to know who I am…
July 1st, 2007 — Music, about me, blast from the past, fun stuff
For 2 days all I have listened to is my Poison greatest hits CD. It’s one I can listen to over and over and not get bored.

My man came up & handed me a CD. He said play song #7. Interupting my best of the Bellamy Brothers CD …it was worth it. My man handed me the extrended dance version of “rock steady”. (Yes I like the Bellamy Bros. my man’s CD I have to give back though)
The volume was turned up to the max & I starting singing along word for word like I was 17 all over again
Rock Steady
Steady rocking all night long
Rock Steady
rocking till the break of dawn
I’m on my second replay of the song.
Updated: I had to hear what else was on this CD.
OMG! Jam on it!!!
Old-school rap/dance. Oh yeah!
Updated again: My man gave me the case. It’s a double CD collection.
Coming up next: Candy Girl (New Edition), In my house (mary Jane Girls) The word is out (Jermaine Stewart), Let it whip (Dazz Band), Word up (cameo) …. Dropped a bomb on me (gap band)
My man never told me he had this CD in his collection.

The show ended a while ago. I didn’t get to blogging until this hour. Downloading pictures & etc. Plus I had a few brews
I am a Molkie Cole virgin no more. I never heard of the group until my man bought the tix 2 months ago but he’s taken me to see Paul Pope a few times. Club Paradise holds about a thousand people & (I think) the show came close to packing the joint. Paul Pope is never afraid to show his Cleveland roots in Buffalo.
As the Sabres took to the ice in a 2nd OT, Molkie Cole took to the stage (in Buffalo) for the first time in 29 years. I won’t say how old I was the last time that happened
but I will say, in my lifetime I have never seen a rocking group like this.
I’ll have some (of my own) youtube footage I’ll upload but for right now I’m tired.
pictures? Yeah I took some too

Molkie Cole Rocks!!!

I am looking at a very busy weekend. I worked today. Tomorrow is the long-awaited Molkie Cole concert. We have had the tickets for alost 2 months. I can’t believe it’s already here. I’ll have a review after but if I know a Paul Pope show, it will be a great review
Sunday I’m visiting with family at my parent’s place.
To the Mom’s reading: Happy Mother’s Day!
